A look into the future..

In less than 4 months time, I'll be turning 20 years old.
Hello to #2, bye-bye to #1.
One step closer to the adult world.
One step closer to the real world.

What do I have for myself in the near future?
I've planned when I want to get engaged, get married, have kids etc.
But the biggest worry now is my profession.

Today morning I had my GSM module called 'Workplace Relationship'.
teacher talked about the life of working in the real world.
No matter it's office work or whatsoever, there's subordinates and bosses.
And by the time I've studied finish, I would be 23 years old..
That's when I need to find a real good job.
No more aimless spending. :(

My dream job since young would be to be in the fashion industry.
Anything related; Modeling, Fashion blogger, Editor etc.
Another dream job would be Cabin Crew, which in simple words, Air Stewardess.
I'll definitely try to get into Cabin Crew!!!
Pay good, free flights to destinations the airline flies to, etc.
Though it's not a long term job, but at least I get experience right? :)
I really cannot wait for graduation, then i'm going to try out for Cabin Crew right away!!!

Relieved and Thankful.

Having started work at Samantha Vega since 5th of April,
I miss my babes at Rosebullet so so much!

Not that SV is boring but, you know, the people around you affects your
daily concentration and will to continue working happily.
But everytime I work at SV, I just have a feeling that I don't want to work
there anymore, wishing it would be my last day there.
Though my friend is working at SV too, but we don't get to work together
everyday, and i'm not close to my other colleagues there.

Luckily, for next month, Icel has scheduled me to work at Dip Drops!
Though not Rosebullet, but at least I have friends there to chat with..
And i'm free to wear what I want, no restrictions.
I can apply nail polish, shocking colors is alright too! :)
I can also wear my nice shoes, no need for black covered pumps..
and no more 'pregnant-like' uniform dress. -.-

I'm falling in love with you~

I'm so so so so in love with Zara's new Color-Blocks!
It's spring time! bright hued colors.. it should never be missed!

Mixture of bright colors, pink/orange/blue.
I'm so falling in love with that pink socks. how sweet!

Loving that green blazer. S$199.
They have it in orange and blue too!

I'm eyeing on that orange blazer ever since I visited Zara @ 313 somerset recently.. I have to get it!!!

POINT!
The Asymmetric Court Shoes S$199.
Zara has loads of shoes and clothes at S$199.. I don't know why too :)
Though it's expensive, but the material used and workmanship is very good.
This shoes comes in green and orange colors as well.
I'm loving the green one, though.

Lastly, something that attracts me in their April Lookbook..

Not the clothing.
But the model's look, and makeup especially!
It looks so fresh! So simple, like just foundation with a bright hue orange-red lipstick.
Not that shocking but still 'shock-able'. haha!
Great work, Zara!

Now on to their March Lookbook..
Actually, you can easily access their lookbooks in their website!
Very convenient, and pick out your style, decide it at home before you
go shopping at Zara. Save the hassle of aimlessly looking around and wasting precious time.

Looks that I love:

Love that bright red vest top S$39.90. Price not bad right?? :)

Nowadays, I'm into the 'laid-back' type of look.
It's so comfy to be in those type of clothes and it suit the weather in Singapore
this few days.
It's either sunny or rainy or both.
So wearing blouses like the one above, it's very flowy and even though it's
sunny weather, no frets, the material is thin and airy.
Even if it's a rainy day that day, no worries too, this blouse keeps you
75% covered :)
However, the price is kind of steep I would say. S$199.
I bought something similar from Bugis St a few days back, S$25.
And that piece is Vivi-Inspired, okay! :)

This is from Zara's Woman Campaign S/S.
I don't know why, but when I scroll and I see this photo, I can't get my eyes off it.
And I have to share it with everyone.
This photo is really cool in a way that this woman looks femininely manly.
Get it?
The pose of the model, the black/white contrast of the photograph, the slouchy clothings etc.
You just got to love it, can't take my eyes off it, can you?
This model is really pretty. :)
Not everybody can look femininely manly, and still be pretty.
Well, Agyness Deyn is one of them. Love her ttm!

Which hairstyle is nicer? :)

1.

2.

3.

I got all these pictures from http://www.rosebelle.org
They have cosmetics, wigs and apparels.
All very pretty and Japanese-looking.
Not all available in Singapore :)
And after I cut my hair short, I still can buy long hair wigs from there..
How cool, short and long hair anytime, anywhere! :)
And according to bloggers reviews, like Quentria from www.quentria.blogspot.com
the response was good, like real hair, no one could recognize it's a wig.
Ho ho ho!

Back to which hairstyle I should cut,
which suits me better?
Personally, I like #1.
Not that curly, not that straight.
Just nice. :)
And the color is very nice too but
i'm afraid it doesn't suit my skin color, cox the model is like damn fair and i'm not. :(
How??

this year.

This year has been passing by so quickly.
In just a blink of the eye, April is coming to an end.
Soon May will arrive, and Baby and I will be celebrating our
2nd year anniversary. :)

Time really flies.
Just last year, 1st May 2010, on our 1st year anniversary,
we went to Marche @ 313 somerset to celebrate.

Pink roses which baby bought for me and it died within a week when it hasn't even bloomed yet.
I really don't know how to take care of flowers. what a girl! lol!!
I thought every bouquet would come with a sponge or something inside,
so that the flowers could last even if it's not put inside a vase with water.
so i happily and 'clever-ly' put the bouquet of flowers on my computer table facing the sun. -.-
I know, I know.. so dumb right? :)
So after it died, I took out the roses to see, and true enough it can be taken out.
why didn't I think of that earlier? Aiyoyo..
And it's pink roses okay. my favorite, and I let it die! goodness gracious! :(

That's baby with the wine we ordered :)
This photo he look plump, now he's slimmer okay.
Cox go army already mah.. heh heh heh!

And me posing with my glass of wine.
I couldn't remember what type of red wine we ordered already.
See the bread infront of me?
That one is shiok to the max, okay!!!!
If you'll ever go to Marche(which I think 90% of Singaporeans would've
already been there before), must order that bread okay!
I don't know the exact name but it's triangle in shape and
has herbs on top of it. must eat it hot-hot! :)
And the small bowl of potato..
that is also the best of the best food at Marche.
It's stir fried with olive oil(healthy right?? :) ) and herbs..
The mushroom soup on the other hand is kinda of too thick for me..
well, for those who like thick soups, or whatever you call it,
then I think you'll will like it.
Mushroom flavor is 'gao gao' one. :)
*it means thick thick, very flavorful.*
OH! and must must must order Rosti!
Everytime I go Marche, Rosti IS a MUST!
it's like my staple food when I step into the world of Marche :)

After dinner, Baby & I headed over to 313 Somerset, the icing room,
to do our Anniversary cake ;)
first time trying to do D.I.Y cake, and with my loved one. Very memorable!
I think it's only between $12-$13? yup..
but you see the heart shape icing stuff on my cake?
I bought that in a packet of lots of that hearts for $2.50 I think.
My memory is so bad, it's failing as I grow older..
Every pricing things I will tell you I think, I think haha!
So back to the darn beautiful cake..
It's really very fun la, feel like doing it again,
though I just did one few weeks ago for Baby's birthday. :)
Addictive!
See how happy I am? wooo~!

The Finale!
The word 'Anniversary' abit squashed up cox it tilted to the side
of the box. But nevertheless, had fun and doesn't it look yummy??!
It doesn't just LOOK yummy, but it TASTES yummy too!
the cake is vanilla fruit sponge..
not too sweet, just nice though I have sweet tooth! It seems like I'm advertising for
The Icing Room haha!

Pic of me and baby at Orchard Central cutting our Anniversary cake.
Happy Couple~ *don't jealous.. hehe!

This year for our 2nd Year Anniversary,
it's just gonna be a very simple one as Baby just had his knee surgery done,
there's nowhere convenient that he can go as he always need
to have his crutches with him, abit inconvenient.
So, we have decided to do it differently this year..
Different noot as in celebrating a different date,
but different as in we are not going to restaurants.
We'll be going to his house downatirs, the 'cze char' stall..
Don't play play okay :) the 'cze char' food is very good and nice!
convenient for baby, and we can save money.
It's going to be SPECIAL~!

hmm.. what gift should I get for baby??

I did this myself using Photoshop. :)
Using some skills learnt from Digital Media class yesterday..
not perfect enough, will learn more!

I would love to learn from 2 people especially, bloggers QiuQiuXiaxue. :)

My pride is back, people! ♥

I've decided to make my blog publicized :)
Gonna put it up on my Facebook.
My pride is back and i'm not afraid of whatever comments, good or bad,
comes my way.
Either type of comment I'll take it as a compliment.
A good comment is definitely better..
But a bad comment is also good, it shows that people bother to read my blog
even when they dislike me or whatsoever.
And all these bad comments will make me become even better in life
and make me a stronger woman, keeping my head held high up.

And those who are gonna leave me bad comments,
one thing is because you're jealous of me. (I believe in that, whatever you say)
You're jealous that you're not that good or beautiful(be thick skin sometimes, it's good ha-ha!)
and all your bad comments will make me become even better, even more pretty..
and as for you, you'll become the vice versa, Losers! Oops!

I believe that everybody is pretty and beautiful in their own ways.
Criticisms are just stepping stones in everyone's lives.
So, criticisms or compliments, bring it on!

Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow

YESTERDAY.
Started first day of Year 3.
Supposed to wake up early at 7am, but in the end (cox i mixed up my alarm tone
& ringtone), I woke up at 7.45am.
Rushed, got changed, left house at 8.20am.
within 35 minutes I managed to walk myself to the toilet,
bathe, get changed, put on my makeup nicely, wear my shoes.
Kudos to myself :) haha!
First lesson started with my GSM modules, Work Relationship.
Kind of boring, we had to create groups of 5 people, find a business nature to do,
and come up with a company in that nature.
So, ya, the day followed on till 4pm and off I went to pick my grandma up from TTSH.
Thereafter, me, grandma and my maid took a cab home.
OH! and I kept up to myself on what I decided long ago what to eat when school reopens.
I had Tomyum Mee Hoon Kueh with Koie.
YUMMEH~ TO THE MAXXXX!
*The end of YESTERDAY :)*

now on to TODAY.
School started at 1010am. I didn't reach late, okay. :)
Today only having two types of modules. Digital media & Pervasive Computing.
What the heck is pervasive computing? LOL.
So, just now me and Koie went to Koufu for lunch.
First class ended 45 minutes early man! hell yeah! :)
Koie had Yong Tau Fu (Before that, she ordered Kimchi Fried Rice but it tasted sucky.) and
I had Chicken Chop w/Rice. :) shiokk~
thereafter we went to buy Each-A-Cup then went to block p smoking area (not me smoke, okay.)
I have another 45 minutes of free time before I got to go up to class for Pervasive Computing.

next up, TOMORROW.
It's CLUB CRAWL people!!!
wooo~ I can see my Xuan babe!
She bought for me Dior Eyeshadow from Bangkok. yippee~
She went bangkok twice in a month lor. how shiok is that!
I think I'll choose Bangkok as my Graduation holiday destination.
Been long since I saw you, Bangkok! I miss the shopping there. Best ever!
ok, back to 'TOMORROW'..
school end at 1.50pm, after that me and Koie will be going to Club Crawl to find HX.
then maybe, maybe only, we'll be going down to town, F21, MARC JACOBS etc.
but if I go, I'll feel so tempted to buy things, but no money, and no money = no buy = walk
out of the shop with a big frown on my face.
So better go after we get our pay. hehehe!
Tomorrow end school so early, After that go home play SIMS 3 lo~! :)

Seriously, I can't wait to get my hands on my pay.
Hopefully we get it early, like before 1pm.
cox 7th may is payday. and 7th may is a Saturday. Saturday banks closes early like 2pm or so.
And the next day is 8th of May, Mothers Day.
So if my pay is a cash cheque, then if I can get my cash before bank closes early on 7th May..
that'll be so good. I can go shop for Mothers Day gift straight away.
What should I get for Mothers Day???
Anti-Wrinkle cream from Kiehls?
Fragrances?
the bag she like from Fred Perry?
Lanyard for her to hang her handphone/card?
:( No idea!

Other than spending my money on Mothers Day gift, I also have other stuffs to get :)

I wanna buy something for Baby.. maybe a 'Superdry' T-Shirt? not sure yet.

For myself, a red rouge, either Chanel, Dior, Mac or Sephora.

I love Chanel's packing, Dior's lasting color, Mac's wide range of color and Sephora's
cheap-yet-chic pricing/packing/color. :)
Oh my, difficult to choose!
I've counted, for this month the days I worked, I would get about $490 excluding commission.

So, if the 'Superdry' cost me $70, I'll be left with $420.
and the rouge cost about $30, i'm left with $390.
Mother Day gift, shared with my sisters, may cost about $20 each, i'm left with $370.
then save some, splurge some :)
I want to splurge it on vintage finds at Fleas! yeah~ will bring Koie along.. my shopping kaki!

shall end this post with a picture of my new hairstyle! :)

PRETTY?? :)

heh heh heh... actually I didn't cut my hair short.. bunned it up.

updates!

Updates from previous flea market @ *Scape...

OOOHHHAAAAIIIYYYOOOOOOOO~~
:)
I managed to grabbed some really good deals during my previous flea market sale.
It was held at *Scape's basement, near the carpark.
Organizer was Flea Escape.

This coming Saturday I'll be doing yet another flea! :)
Flea's are addicting.. cause..
1)It helps you earn some little income :)
2)It get rids of clothes you can't wear or find it taking up too much
of your closet space.
3)you can browse around other stalls for 'new' clothings to call it yours.
Of course, not exceeding your budget, meaning it's cheap!

How great is that!
Though you have to spend about $50 to book a stall, on an average.
But to get back your capital is kind of easy, if you choose correct type
of clothings to sell to the correct crowd.
However, sadly, I only managed to earn $22 for the previous flea, after I minus
off the things I bought at the flea.
Well, mainly the cause is 80% of the clothings we brought there was Mum's. :(
Mummy, you're a big bully.
And mummy said that even though I sell my clothes, it's still her money, cos
she bought it for me. Very 'gei gao' lehs.. aiyo! hahaha!

so these are the stuffs I bought from the flea market:

The first 3 rings were from the same stall, wait for the price....!!!!! :)))

3 for $7.50. means 1 for $2.50????!!!! super duper great deal can!
and all is new piece. not leftovers hor! heh heh heh!

And the LOEWE bag below I bought it for $7 only! online blogshops/facebook shops are selling it
at at least $15? around that price lahs..
Another great buy right??? i know i know.. :)
it's light pink in color. sweet~~!

TODAY.

Mummy and I went to The Coffee Club for breakfast at Orchard Fountain.
Both of us had American Breakfast, it was nice and tasty..
But because my wisdom tooth is growing, i couldn't eat my food properly thus,
It didn't make my day. :(
After breakfast, we took the bus down to The Cathay.
I wanted to let mummy see the Dr.Marten boots look alike :)
Dr.Marten's cost a whopping $149, if i'm not wrong.
But the boots I had my eye on was only $39.90 :)
It really looks alike..really!
and I'll never buy the real one, cos I think it's not necessary.
spending that much amount of money is not worth it..
$39.90 boots is also wearable, durable and best thing, it's cheap.
Just look at the picture of it. believe me :)
I bought red color. Though not the color I wanted, I wanted black.
But this height only has white or red in size 38.
White becomes yellow easily if not maintained well.
So I bought red! and it's cool color, don't you think? :)
I'm darn happy!!!!
my legs look effing ugly, i know. :(
So just focus on the boots, ask your eyes to blur out my legs okay!

After cam-whoring the boots, it's time to camwhore myself.
That's what i'm gonna wear tomorrow for flea!
Love my boots so so much! Gazillion LOVES!

Polka-Dotted sheer shirt
Acid Washed Cut-out shorts
Fringed spike necklace
My super-love Red boots :)

my bedsheet cute uh.. bear bear~ haha!

winks ^.<

WINK WINK ^.<

Buh-Byeee~ xoxo
