Big Bang Live in Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix 2013 - 20/9/13

On 20th Sept 2013, I went to the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix at Padang..
Just for..... Big Bang's performance!!! yeah~!!!!!

Bought the cheapest walkabout tix @ $68 & yes, I got to see them kinda close for just $68.
How awesome!!! Daebak!

Went together with my boyf, had dinner at Raffles City before heading over to the Padang at 8pm.
We sat there with many other fans till 11pm before they finally came on stage..
A long wait but totally worth it! Well, except for those people who kept pushing like no ones business.

So, less words, more pictures! :) Enjoy!

Big Bang rocks!!!!!!!!!!

Bye~!! :)

Bangkok Diaries Part 1.

DAY 1 - 22 July 2013

We took the morning flight at around SGT 10.25am. Chose Jetstar Asia this time, and my travelling
companion this time round, my mum. :) Which means more walking, less stopping! She's a true shopaholic!
We touched down at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport at BKT 12pm.
*Bangkok timing is 1-hour behind Singapore's time.

We then headed over to the Airport Rail Link Express Train. Each ticket costs 90 baht and it takes
you straight to Makkasan station which is near the city centre. And the whole trip only takes ~20-25mins!
Much faster than taking a cab, and you can avoid all traffic jams! Seats are comfy too.. Awesome!

Upon reaching at Makkasan station, we walked over to the nearby metro Petchaburi Station and
took the train to the next stop, Sukhumvit. Sukhumvit is a interchange to the BTS station Asok.
It's also where Terminal 21 Shopping Centre is located at.
In Bangkok, they have different lines of trains, mainly the SARL, BTS and MRT(metro).

Our hotel, which is called Galleria 10, is located in between BTS stations Asok and Nana.
But I felt that it was nearer to Nana instead.
So we walked to our hotel from Asok and it took us ~10mins.
Upon reaching Sukhumvitt Soi 10, where our hotel is located in, a buggy approached us to
bring us in. The hotel was quite a distance inside, so they provided buggy service, only for hotel guests.
However, one bad point is that the buggy service is till 9pm at night only.. so every night we had to
walk in the lane with just a few street lights on. We never ever reach back to hotel before 9pm. hahaha!

We checked in and after 1/2 hour, we're out again and heading to Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Oh! And near to our hotel, ~5mins walk, there is a Korean Town! It has a Korean bakery, restaurants etc.

Chatuchak is easily accessible by MRT Kamphaeng Phet station. No need for taxi or TukTuk! :)
Lucky enough, Kamphaeng Phet station is in the same line as Sukhumvit!

So, this waas how Day 1 ended. Just going to one attraction only, Chatuchak. :)
It was more than enough to make my feet sore!
It only opens on weekends, Saturday & Sunday. Best to go early in the morning ~10am..

Stay tuned for Day 2!!!
