Models I Adore

Models are everywhere around the world.
Everytime I see runway shows, what I always look out for are Asian models.
They have the unique factor look in them and they just stand out.
Not that I'm prejudice against American models but it's just that x-factor. :)

Speaking for myself, I've been scouted for almost 5 times, by different agencies.
However in Singapore, this little red dot don't give you much exposure into
the real world of a model's life. Putting aside drugs, sex and rock & roll.
What I mean by real world is the competition out there, the media, the
projects you'll be handling and even the money.
Comparing to America, the real world there is such that your projects
are high names in the industry like Chanel(ooh.. i love that!), John Galliano, Prada,
Gucci, Burberry etc. just to name a few.
And competition is high, very high! As 'high' as the Americans.. haha!
joking.. high in a way that the girl who was scouted after you or maybe younger
than you(say 15 years old..?) could have walked the runways of Chanel etc..
and that makes her a million dollar babe compared to you.

But in Singapore, your projects/jobs are like appearing in magazines like Teenage or
Seventeen. And those are not big magazine names.

So even if getting into a modelling industry in Singapore may sound good,
it doesn't bring you far.
That's why my answer to all the agencies that scouted me is:
"Let me study finish and I'll get back to you again".
If they can confirm me a firm payout with good future, I'll agree straight away :)
HAHAHA!

♥ I really miss you so much ♥

Today is not a good day.

This morning woke up at 7:10am.
Supposed to wake up at 6am but I don't know who pressed the
alarm off, and off I went back into my lala land, sleeping soundly.
Quickly bathed, changed, prepared my stuffs for comm skill presentation
and went out to get a cab to school. Reached school at 7:50am, $6+. :(

Kind of a tiring day today, carrying my blazer, walking in my formal wear(which I hate so much!),
carrying my laptop... not forgetting starting school at 8am today. gosh!
Hate Thursdays the most.

After school, went to Starbucks @ Thomson Plaza with Hung Chun & Josephine.
Starbucks is having a promo now, Happy Hours 3-5pm 50% off Frappuccinos.
I had Choc Chip Frappuccino, Hung chun had White Choco Frappuccino &
Josephine had Raspberry 'something' Frappuccino. :)
All very tasty! ❤
Mine was $3.20 after discount, worth it!

After that, went home.

Baby called me, he was quite moody.
I really feel like accompanying him but I'm busy with school & work.
I feel very bad, to leave him alone and stuffs.
All he can do is to stay home, play his game, eat dinner, go to sleep.
He wants to catch a movie but he doesn't want me to go with him as I've watched
it before and he's afraid I'll feel very bored.
Baby, I really really don't mind. As long as I get to spend time with you,
and not just go to your place, eat dinner, watch 2hrs of tv then off to bed.
Even if I have school or work next day, I still don't mind.
1 week, 7 days, I only can accompany you for less than 24hours, which is less than a day!
I can't possibly skip classes/school, I have to work so that I can take care
of myself as I can't depend on the $50/week given to me from mummy.
I know baby understands but I still don't feel good.
I'm enjoying but Baby is feeling so bored at home, nowhere he can go/do.
how? :(
I miss you Baby, I wanna accompany you, 24/7 if possible..
I don't like to hear you always saying that you're bored.
I really want to go out with you, shopping, sightseeing, whatsoever.
As long as we can spend time together.

After getting my pay, I've been buying lots of stuffs.

Got to stop it really soon, if not I'll go broke again.

-And many more $$$ on FOOD!!!!!! LOL.

Terrible Spendings lah.. :(

Best time of the month is...

PAYDAY!!!

this is the best time of the month, as always, as usual.
Right, girls?
haha!!! because our wish list will be partly or mostly fulfilled..
as for me it's only partly fulfilled as my wishlist is always always full!
it's like never-ending, once a spot is done, a new wish takes over.
That's my really bad bad bad super bad habit, I can say.

So my previous post I used POLYVORE to create a mesh of Color Block
clothings which I really like this S/S 2011. Mesh from Topshop, Forever21 and Zara.

I've cleared a few stuffs on my wishlist already: (so happy!!)

1) Rosebullet camel shorts (which I reserved like so long ago..) S$34.50
2) Dip Drops Military cap (yet to buy, but getting it soon! :)) S$24.50
3) E.L.F Black Felt Tip Eyeliner from www.smoochiezz.com S$3.50
4) Black sheer knee-high sock w/polka dot print from www.missypalace.net S$5.90

But I'm still considering on some items:

1) Boyfriend Blazer in Blue from www.foggiare.sg ~~S$40.90~~ --> S$9.00!!!

though of getting this as now bright hue colors are in the trend,

blue should be one of it right? and it looks good, for $9.00! what the heck?!
