Photoshop newbie :)
Hi there lovelies!
Finally it's a Friday!!!! oh yea~ oh yea~~
Gonna be meeting my bf in 3hours times :)
Yeah, back to the main topic.
Yes! I'm a Photoshop newbie as of last week! haha, really slow, isn't it?
Till now, I've learnt the basics.. like liquify, texturing, patterns, backgrounds etc.
After learning on how to add textures to photos, I really have been enjoying it alot more!
I've downloaded lens flare textures, grunge textures and bokeh too!
All these really just livens up a normal day-to-day picture.
Gotta say a big thank you to the person(s) who came up with this amazing photoshop thingy!
I'm enjoying it every single second I open it up on my laptop.

Count my blessings..
Since birth, I've had bronchitis. In simple terms, asthma.
Going in and out of the hospital was like a daily routine to me.
I still remembered the first time I had an asthma attack, I was rushed to
the hospital A&E department. A nurse attended to me and gave me some
'air' in a mask thingy, which I called the elephant nose. In this 'air', there were some
medicine pumped into the liquid which was supposed to make my airway clear up.
And that was not all.. after the air-mask thing, I was brought to another station
whereby the nurse poked a needle into one of the veins on my hand and then put a little
board underneath the hand as a support. The first time the nurse did that, I cried like mad!
Thinking about it, it was such a funny sight!
Throughout my whole life until primary school ended, I was admitted to hospital for more
than 8 time due to asthma attacks and breathlessness.
There was one particular time which I remembered so clearly.
It was a near-death experience for me.
I was at my Great-Grandmother's wake. It was past midnight and we stayed over to keep
a lookout. I was eating some peanuts and drinking the distilled packet water.
Out of a sudden, I had shortness of breath and blacked out for about 3 seconds.
I could still remember that I was gasping for air, clasping my chest and I just ran out
of the block and into the car-park area aimlessly.
My mother saw me and alerted my relatives.. she was screaming out my name, holding
onto me so tightly. My grandma was also very frantic, shouting out "What happened??!".
I was immediately driven to Changi General Hospital A&E. Again I was given the air-mask
and luckily everything went fine. I need not have to stay for observation.
However, the checkup done showed that I had lung infection which was quite minor.
After that incident, whenever I'm at a wake, I never dared to touch packet water and peanuts again.
Just last Saturday, I started to cough really badly and at the same time I also had a bad sorethroat.
To add on, I had no strength to move about freely and a sudden migraine struck me.
The pain in my head was like someone pounding my skull so damn hard! It was unbearable!
I took panadol and rested but after an hour the pain was still there..
So I prayed and as I prayed, tears fell.
The tears weren't tears of pain, but rather tears of joy. I could sense God being there for me,
looking after me as I was ill.
I am a weak girl, with an average immunity system. I tend to get sick easily and take a longer time to recover.
But to be able to live till this day, I really gotta thank God.
He knows when I need his help, when I'm weak and when I need Him by my side.
I'm really blessed to have escaped death, and have such a wonderful family.
I'm also blessed to have made many great friends and also finding my amazing partner.

it's been awhile...
Like the title of this post says, it's been awhile that I've blogged.
And also it's been more than awhile that I met my secondary school friends.
To be precise, it's been about 4 years since I last saw them.
Yesterday, we finally got the time to meet one another for Ladies Night at Phuture!
Had a really fun time with the clique & also made some new friends. :)
Before everything, I met Kassy at Somerset and we walked around looking for a outfit..
But nothing fits nicely. However, in the end Kassy bought a plain dress and I bought a loafer
at Cotton On. :)
Pictures below!

Make It Right For A Better Ride
Have you ever woken up to a bright and cheerful day and have it ruined by ungracious commuters
on buses and trains?
Have you ever experienced trying to get up a bus after a tiring day in school or work and being forced to take the next bus because the commuters refuse to move to the rear?
Have you ever had difficulty trying to get out of the train because of commuters overcrowding the
entrance/exit of the train doors?
I'm sure everyone has experienced at least one or more of the above.
As for me, I experienced all of the above(I'm serious!!!) and this is one of my many encounters:
Looking at my watch, it was 6pm, like finally! Having been in school from Monday to Friday from
8:30am, I really felt so lethargic. So, 6pm was a really happy time for me during my FYP period.
I walked really quickly to the bus stop and waited for the bus to head home.
As it was peak hour, there were quite alot of students at the bus stop, all anticipating to quickly get
up the bus and go home for a nice shower and dinner.
After a 5 minutes wait, my bus arrived. (F.Y.I, I took bus 265 at the bus stop opposite NYP)
The bus was packed but there were some empty seats and empty spaces at the middle of the bus.
About 2-3 commuters alighted, thus having a little more space for the rest to move in.
However, those commuters just stand at their places, refusing to move to the rear despite knowing
that there's many students waiting to board.
The bus captain tried his very best to ask the commuters to move in but to no avail.
So, he had no choice but to leave all of us behind and we've to wait for the next bus.
No one would love to his/her day ruined by just a handful of ungracious commuters, right?
And if you're in my shoes, I'm pretty sure you'll be as furious as I am.
To move to the rear of the bus or to give way to commuters exiting the train is not a very difficult thing
to do.
Some advice for all you commuters who take the public transport daily like I do!
First and most important thing to consider before you decide to rush to enter the trains is:
- Put yourselves in the alighting commuter's shoes. If that was you, and commuters outside just rush and bang onto you before you can even get out of the train, how would you feel?
Secondly:
- When you give way, there won't be any unnecessary disputes and you might just get a smile or a
'Thank You' in return. Doesn't that make your day even better to know that you are being considerate
and gracious? :)
Thirdly:
- By moving into the rear of the buses, you're allowing other commuters to board the bus and they would
be able to get home quickly to see their love ones, just like how you want to get home so badly after a long, tiring day. You'll be doing them a favor and also for yourselves by being a thoughtful Singaporean!
Lastly:
- When you see an elderly, pregnant woman or a handicap person, please make way for them and give
up your seats for them. Again, put yourselves in their shoes, you wouldn't want to be left standing there for
your whole journey, correct?? :D
So, why not make things easier for everybody and of course, yourselves!
Be a gracious and considerate commuter today and for the rest of your life! :)
Because, you're AWESOME like that!!!!

。◕‿◕。 Trip to the zoo 。◕‿◕。
On 20 February, my bf and I went to the Zoo. (^▽^)
It was so much fun!!!
The most fond memory I have about Zoo was during my childhood times.
I held my 1st Birthday at the kids area!!!
And my favorite area was always the kids play area... The playground with sand,
inner-play area with lots of colorful balls and of course, swings!
I still have the picture of me celebrating my 1st Birthday, smiling so happily. (●´∀`●)
So back to the present, this trip was planned because the Wildlife Reserves Singapore was having a
promotion for Zoo, Night Safari & Bird Park.
Tickets were 1-for-1, so we only paid $20 for 2 tickets.. usual price per ticket would be $20.
Yeah, we saved $20. :) That money was spent on our lunch in the Zoo.. which was KFC. haha!
The best part of this trip to the Zoo was the experience feeding the kangaroo!!!!! (*´∀`*)
It was like a dream come true for me. I never got so close to a kangaroo in my whole life.
And feeding them only costs $5, which is a donation to the wildlife.
A few picture highlights for you'll to see how Singapore Zoo looks like.. (◕‿◕✿)

The kids section, Rainforest Kidzworld
Though Singapore Zoo ain't that big, but it's a great experience and a really safe place. :)
If you'll haven't checked the Zoo yet, or haven't been there recently, you have gotta go!!!
And Singapore's Night Safari is the one and only, as far as I know, in the world! How awesome!
